Canadian singer-songwriter Leslie Feist, dominated that nation's highest music honors, the Juno Awards, at the beginning of April. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the artist, who goes by just her last name, won five Junos overall. Feist took home Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year on April 5th during a non-televised industry ceremony in Calgary. On April 6th, the 32-year-old Nova Scotia-born singer won three more trophies: Best Single for "1, 2, 3, 4" and Best Album and best pop album for The Reminder during a national telecast.
Artist of the Year nominee Michael Buble took home the Fan Choice award, while rock band Blue Rodeo earned three Junos in all: Group of the Year, Adult Alternative Album of the Year for Small Miracles and Video of the Year for "C'Mon." Montreal band Arcade Fire won Alternative Album of the Year for Neon Bible, while Ontario group Finger Eleven won Rock Album of the Year for Them vs. You vs. Me.
