"More Time" is the new release from NeedtoBreathe, new on the scene from Southern California.

Sky Blue Sky was Wilco's highest debuting album on the Billboard 200 at number four. The self-produced album received mostly favorable reviews by critics. Hate it Here is their first single released on this album.

Matt Nathanson's latest album, Some Mad Hope, was released on August 14, 2007. The ABC show Big Shots featured his song "Come On Get Higher" in an episode this season.

On February 20, 2008, Jakob Dylan's MySpace page and official website released information about his new album. The album will be called Seeing Things and is scheduled for a release date of June 10, 2008. The mostly acoustic album will contain 10 tracks. The names of these songs was also released at the same time and dozens of news sources picked up the story. For example, one news story which included the track listing was published in NME News on February 21, 2008.

Falling Slowly is an Academy Award-winning song, written and performed by personal and professional partners Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. It appeared in the couple's 2007 film Once. The film was eligible for the 2007 Academy Awards, awarded on February 24, 2008. It was chosen over the choral gospel song "Raise It Up" from August Rush and three songs from the modern Disney musical Enchanted.

Death Cab For Cutie released the first single from the album Narrow Stairs, "I Will Possess Your Heart", on March 18, 2008 . It was met with plaudits from the dedicated fan membership of the DCFC Union as well as some concern from more casual fans, saying the musical introduction, though powerful and emotive with the driving bass line, was too long. The radio edit version will not include the extended introduction

On January 7, 2008 the Black Crowes announced that for the first time in their 18-year career, they would perform an album in its entirety. On a special run of “One Night Only” shows beginning March 2 and wrapping March 20, fans experienced Warpaint – the group’s first album of all-new studio material in seven years, released March 4 – in its entirety onstage, after which the band performed songs from its catalog and selected covers.

In July 2007, Steve Winwood shared the stage with Eric Clapton, in Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival. Among the songs they played together were "Presence of the Lord" and "Can't Find My Way Home" from their Blind Faith days. Winwood played several guitar leads in a 6 song set. The two old friends and bandmates continued their collaboration with a sold-out three night stand at Madison Square Garden in February of 2008. Steve is now slated to tour with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers during Petty's summer 2008 tour.

Brett Dennen is a folk/pop singer-songwriter from Oakdale, California. In 2004, Dennen released his first self-titled album, Brett Dennen. His second album was So Much More, which includes the singles "Ain't No Reason", "She's Mine", and "Darlin' Do Not Fear". A few songs charted as iTunes top downloads in the days following the album's release in November 2006In November, 2007, Dennen was named as one of Rolling Stone Magazine's "10 Artists To Watch."

According to Gavin's official website his new album was expected in fall/winter, however RCA has announced that the album will be available April 1st, 2008. The first single, "In Love With A Girl" was released on February 5th, 2008.

Sia, is an Australian pop singer. She is noted for her work with Zero 7 and her three major label solo albums. In January of 2008, Sia's fourth LP entitled "Some People Have Real Problems" was released. The expected first single is "Day Too Soon".
Ben's Brother is a five-piece band from the UK, headed by founder Jamie Hartman. Their band was named after Jamie's big brother Ben, in whose shadow he lived. Jamie always considered himself the beta male of the family, which gave him the idea for the title of their debut album.
Their debut album, Beta Male Fairytales, was released on the 6th August 2007.
A song from the album, God By Another Name, became the first iTunes Store free single of the week to be made available in the iTunes Plus format. Recently, their song "Stuttering" was used on the new US Dentyne Ice Commercial.

OneRepublic's song "Apologize" featured in remix form on Timbaland's 2007 release Shock Value. The song was released as the single in its original form on the band's new album debut. The song became a fall hit, breaking the all time record for most airplay of any song in Top 40 history. In addition the single is almost 2x platinum (2 million copies) in sales. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the week of November 6, 2007 and number three on the U.K. Official Top 40 Week on 11 November 2007.
The group has recently finished recording their debut album entitled Dreaming Out Loud which was largely produced by Greg Wells (Mika, Rufus Wainwright, Deftones) with some songs produced by lead singer Ryan Tedder. It was released on November 20, 2007. Their follow up single to "Apologize" was "Stop & Stare" as announced on their MySpace page.

Girl's in Their Summer Clothes is the newest release from Bruce Springsteen's most recent album, Magic, was released on October 2, 2007. Recorded with the E Street Band, it featured ten new announced Springsteen songs. The first single "Radio Nowhere" was made available for a free download on August 28. On October 7, Magic debuted at number 1 in Ireland and the UK. Greatest Hits reentered the Irish charts at number 57, and Live in Dublin almost cracked the top 20 in Norway again. On October 11, 2007 Media Traffic reported that Springsteen's Magic sold 563,000 copies around the world in its first week, making it the best-selling record in the world for that particular week. The next world chart saw Bruce remain at the top, selling another 270,000 copies of Magic and bringing the total for that album to 833,000 copies worldwide

My Moon, My Man is the second offering from The Reminder, the third full-length album by indie rock artist Feist. The album was released on 23 April 2007 in countries outside of North America, and 1 May 2007 in the United States and Canada. Following its release, it debuted on the U.S. Billboard 200 at number 16, selling about 31,000 copies in its first week,and debuted at number 2 in Canada, selling just over 18,000 copies. As of December 5, 2007, the album has sold 379,000 copies in the US.

Say , by John Mayer is being released from the soundtrack of The Bucket List, an American film directed by Rob Reiner; starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. It is scheduled for release in North America by Warner Bros. on Christmas, 2007. The story follows two terminally ill men (Nicholson and Freeman) on a road trip with a wish list of things to do before they die.

"Fight Outta You" is the second release from the album Lifeline by Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals. The album was recorded in Paris in the fall of 2006 after the lengthy European leg of the Both Sides of the Gun tour. Harper and the Innocent Criminals wrote the tracks while on tour and would rehearse the songs during sound checks while at each venue. Recorded in only 7 days on analog, Harper's eighth studio album was released on 28 August 2007. The album debuted at number nine on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 41,000 copies in its first week.

The B52's toured actively in 2003, and they felt it was time to start writing new material. The process took some time as the band members all lived in different parts of the US and coordinating was not easy. The end result is an entirely new album, titled Funplex their first original album in sixteen years (since 1992's Good Stuff). It is expected to be released on March 25, 2008 by Astralwerks. Talking about the record's sound, Keith Strickland noted, "It’s loud, sexy rock & roll with the beat pumped up to hot pink." While not a radical departure for the band, the new album makes more extensive use of electronica programming and production elements, and is produced by Steve Osborne, who was asked to work on the album based on his work with New Order on the album Get Ready. The band continue to tour extensively, and will be touring in support of the new album. The first single from the album is "Funplex", which will be released digitally on January 29th.
